Toddler Skirt

This week, I have been busy creating new designs for Grace&Lee. One of the designs is a skirt and matching top-knot headband for toddlers. I like to sew based on trial and error, which means sometimes I don’t use a pattern. Shocking, right? Which means there is A LOT OF TRIAL AND ERROR.

Here is the skirt

It was quite easy, actually. I cannot wait to sew more using fun fabrics- they make ALL the difference, don’t you think? Sew the same skirt in an ugly fabric, and well, you may as well hang the skirt in the back of the closet, never to be seen or worn again!

The more I sew these skirts, the more my brain starts rolling with fun embellishment ideas. Bows, buttons, knots, pleats…the possibilities are endless!
Right now I’m still creating and exploring, so stay tuned for added products. And remember, I have a toddler and 3 month old, which means I have no time frame!
